taikomoji programa statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Programa, kurią kompiuterio naudotojas taiko kokiam nors darbui atlikti tiesiogiai. Taikomųjų programų pavyzdžiai: tekstų rengyklė, skaičiuoklė, grafikos programa, interneto naršyklė, elektroninio pašto programa, buhalterinės apskaitos programos ir pan. Šiuo terminu tokia programa įvardijama tada, kai reikia ją atskirti nuo programų, neduodančių tiesioginio rezultato, pavyzdžiui, operacinių sistemų, diskų skaidymo, diskų defragmentavimo, įvairių kitų programų, tvarkančių kompiuterio veikimą ir taikomąsias programas. atitikmenys: angl. application; application program ryšiai: palyginksisteminė programa
